Getting married is a big time in anyone’s life. Choosing the location is one of the prime things that a couple must decide on. This is usually one of the very first steps following the engagement. Having a wedding in Key West allows you to have a wide selection to choose from as far as locations are concerned.

For those who are fans of Ernest Hemmingway, his home is available for a wedding. His home is beautifully landscaped with tropical gardens and even a koi pond. You can choose from locations such as the bridge spanning the pond or beside the pool. His actual home can be reserved for private tours for your wedding guests.

Key West Sailing Adventures also offers wedding packages. The wedding charter provides a 2 hour sunset cruise on which the couple is married. Couples can choose between the all inclusive charter which includes the yacht, the captain, the wedding certificate, photos, flowers, food, and drinks or the couple can create their own wedding with whatever features they would like.

Sebago Catamarans also offers sailing wedding packages. Couples can get married on board a catamaran on a two hour sunset cruise. The wedding tours include drinks, but couples can also add things like flowers, catering, and photography for additional fees. Couples who do not wish to get married out on the boat can choose to have a beach wedding at Fort Zachary Taylor State Park. There are also several other unique settings available such as riding off on jet skis after the ceremony or parasailing off into the sunset.

Couples can also get married at the southernmost house in the United States. This hotel offers weddings out in the gazebo and will perform ceremonies during the day as well as in the evening depending on your desires. Guests can also stay at this hotel as well as the newlywed couple.

Dreamchaser weddings come in few different options. Couples can get married aboard a 43 foot Trimaran sailboat with a 2 hour sailing trip that includes cake and champagne. Another option is the “Make a Splash” wedding. These weddings take place on the waterfront either at Fort Zachary Taylor State Park or Smathers Beach. This option can take place at sunrise, during the day, or at sunset. For couples that will be getting married with just the two of them present, the “New Horizon” package is the perfect choice. This simple beach wedding can be upgraded to include photography.

For those who will be having a larger wedding, the Conch Republic Seafood Company offers an interesting choice. This restaurant will serve as the reception location. The open air restaurant sits overlooking the waterfront. The outdoor patio area can accommodate up to 50 people while the interior will allow for up to 400 people and allows for an open bar and all inclusive menu.

Choosing the special location for your wedding is quite a difficult choice. There is so much to choose from. Key West weddings have been on the rise in popularity and they have so much to offer. Couples are bound to find something within their budget.
