The hot button topic these days seems to be immigration - keeping everything (and everyone!) legal here in America, while allowing healthy growth to our population but blocking those folks from entering who seek to harm our citizens and way of life. To be honest, I go back and forth on the issue myself - one day, I lean towards an inclination to shut down the border, entirely; others, I think, more realistically, we have to find a workable solution that positively impacts all sides going forward - and if we kick all of the current illegals out, instead of making them legal and getting them on the books for tax purposes, we’re missing out on a huge potential revenue pool.
The purpose of this series of articles, however, is not to tell you what you ought to believe - it’s to provide you with several unique perspectives, some from my own life and others from a historical or legal standpoint, hoping that in having more information to consider, you can make a more informed decision on how you feel about the topic of immigration.
