In today’s world with the technology that we now have, children have more ways than ever to play and learn. Kids are no longer restricted to board games, toys, and playing outside. Many kids are learning to use computers at a younger age. Today, most households have at least one computer and parents are beginning to use these computers as tools to help their child learn, but also to let them play a little. The internet has several sites that cater to children and offer a variety of interactive learning games for them to play.

Fisher Price has always been one of the front runners when it comes to children’s games and toys. They have come out with many timeless classics and also a nice newer variety as well. Online toddler gaming is no exception. The Fisher-Price webpage is home to several child activities. They have activities for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers available. Toddlers can play and color with the Little People, learn their ABCs, and play the Bubble Mower and Bubble Tractor games. There are also online puzzles for them to do.

One of the favorite things for toddlers to watch on television during the day is Nick Jr. which is found every weekday morning on Nickelodeon. These mornings are filled with shows that help toddlers learn and explore their world. Nick Jr.’s webpage is an extension of this that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There you can play games with Blue, Dora, Little Bill, and all their other Nick Jr. friends. This site also offers printables where parents can print off worksheets and coloring pages for their child to enjoy.

Another favorite network for children is Noggin. This channel runs shows similar to Nick Jr. but they run them all day long. They also have a site that is associated with them. On this site, children can play a wide variety of games based on the shows played on this network. Kids can help Bert from Sesame Street to match his socks into pairs or help him figure out the pattern of birds. They can play guessing games with Oobi. They can draw pictures on the doodle pad which may show up on the network. Noggin is full of a wide variety of activities appropriate for any skill level.

The Disney Channel is another network that provides a website with online games for toddlers. This would be the place to go for these games. Kids can play circus games with Jojo, higgly games with the Higglytown kids, or play the outback mail game with the Koala Brothers. All their other favorite Playhouse Disney friends are there too with their own games to play. There are also plenty of other activities.

Finding a safe place for your toddler to play and learn on the internet is very important. It is also important to supervise your child so that you can protect him or her from any of the dangers lurking on the internet. Choosing one of these places for your toddler to enjoy some games is pretty safe. Using varying methods for your child to play and learn will help them grow to be diverse adults someday.
