Howdy, ya’ll!
It’s been far too long since I’ve written here, so thought I’d put up a brief post tonight, to share a few scattered thoughts! (What can I say - life’s busy!)
I just took my dogs for their before-bedtime potty walk, and when I walked into the 45 degree Texas night, I realized that it was definitely cold outside - but the kind of cold that just doesn’t feel so bad.
Do you know what I mean? If you’ve ever lived in a cold-weather area, I’ll bet you do! Having grown up in the northeast, we had warm colds all the time - days where, although the temperature was low, the rest of the weather conditions were great. Those were usually days that we headed for the ski slope in just jeans and a sweater, rather than the rest of our ski expeditions, that included major bundling up!
So, you warm-weathered-creature, you. What IS a warm cold, you ask? Well, the wind isn’t blowing, the sky is totally clear of clouds, and it’s just pleasant outside. As much of a lizard as I am - I love just baking in the sun - even I can appreciate a night like this.
I’m also watching the Will and Grace episode where they find out that Will’s dad’s having an affair, and they have the cold weather/hot weather inane dinner conversation. Funny times!
In any case, just wanted to say a brief hi! I’m busily involved in a bunch of projects right now (gotta make money, folks!) but I do promise that I’ll put up more articles here at ArsC soon!
Good night!
