Purtian’s Pride is having another 89 cent sale. Pretty much the same products as last time are listed in the sales flyer.
So you can buy 20 softgels with 30 mg. of Co Q-10. Puritan’s says its regular price is $6.99, which is also pretty good, since both the CVS and Walgreens across the street sell 30 pills for over ten dollars.
Similarly, gingko biloba, good for circulation and mental focus, is regularly $3.29 for 30 tablets with 60 mg. at Puritan’s Pride. At Vitamin Shoppe, which has a far greater selection to choose from, the cheapest bottle is 90 veggie caps at the same strength from Wells Nutritional for $6.99, also a comparative bargain.
Then there is Selenium, regularly $4.20 for 100 tablets with 50 mcg. at Puritan’s Pride. At Vitacost.com, it is $6.99 for 200 capsules with 200 mcg, not a straight comparison.
Vitamin B-12 is listed to sell regularly for $5.99 for 100 tablets with 5r00 mcg. each. Discount-vitamins-direct.com sells 250 tablets for $18.50. Trivita, which also bills itself as vitaminb12online.com, sells it for $38.88.
Sixty tablets of vitamin C 500 mg. with rose hips lists for $2.79 at Puritan’s Pride. It goes for $3.99 for 100 capsules at Doctor’s Trust. Drugstore.com sells the Rite Aid brand for $4.99.
Natural E 400 IU is regularly $3.49 for 30 softgels. At Doctor’s Trust it is $8.99 for 300 softgels. Swanson sells 250 softgels for $6.99.
100 tablets of odor free garlic is $9.95. Both CVS and Walgreens carry regular garlic, that is, not odor free for $3 to $4. Online, Amazon, yes, Amazon, bizrate, shopping.com and Vitamin World all carry competitive products.
So Puritan’s Pride’s prices are good but there is a lot of competition from all other sorts of vendors, including Amazon, so Puritan is a bargain but it depends on what you are looking for.
