About This Editor: I am a writer. Have been writing for other sites, but expect to do most of my future work HERE! My expertise extends from the esoteric such as burning hydrogen to the unpredictability of the stock market and my writing makes me a jack of all trades and exasperated master of none. I have had some influence over national wildfire and water policy and there are hints of a change in energy policy, BUT as Samuel Goldwyn once said, "A verbal promise is not worth the paper it is written on."

In an effort to add excitement and generate interest to what appears is destined to be a dry, intellectual, theoretically high minded, six month long Presidential contest, “The New York Times” has published an article suggesting that Republican candidate John McCain was too close to a telecommunications lobbyist named Vicki Iseman.  It seems she actually talked to him in person, accompanied him to meetings and even flew with him on a private corporate jet when that was legal, clearly leaving the impression that they had a lot of work to do.

On the other hand, there were no hotel check ins or sightings at private residences or witnesses to that sort of thing produced.  Mostly, McCain’s staff did not want him to meet her when ethics reform was being debated.  You see rich people have too much money and the people’s business is not good for business because poor representation is so much better.  You have to understand class warfare and what is classy and a class war under this kind of thinking.  We also know navy pilots are not boy scouts.

It should be pointed out that “The Times” often is the mouth piece for the Democratic Party, going down the line for whatever scheme is deemed to be happiest at the Time.  “The Times,” for example, has not participated much in the investigation into the lack of ethics in high places in Albany nor has it shown any interest in the continuing investigation into questionable fund raising links by the former State Comptroller.

Right now, while the article gained widespread notoriety, showing the vast clout of the Old Gray Lady, it is not being taken that seriously elsewhere in the media except that it is an opportunity for a hundred media tongues to have a good wag.  O also want to point out that they have treated porn stars better than they have treated me.  You can look it up.

In the mean time, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are still duking it out for the Democratic title.  Clinton is pushing a health plan that she says covers everyone, while Senator Obama says he has a plan that covers even more people than her plan, possibly picking up on Mike Huckabee’;s idea of political math, that all we need is a miracle.  Not that Huckabee appears to be running on substance.  He has ruled out the Vice Presidency and the Senate.  So what is he going to do down the line?

Finally, it may be worthwhile to find out the difference between Barry in Hawaii and Barack in Illinois.  He is also called Sir in Washington and Honey at home.  He also appears to be a sugar daddy with the publics money.  Does this have significance beyond mere friendliness or is it political posturing with a deeper meaning.  Is this the importance of being Earnest or much ado about nothing?  Say it isn’t so.
